Update, and Interview Part II

I’d like to tell you folks a little bit about what’s been going on, especially with all these Man’o’sphere sites dropping like flies, but first my second interview with Danny de Gracia II; the first one went so well, we figured a longer version was due.

Posting’s been a bit sparse, what with launching the novel and everything, but I plan to amend that; and I figured I’d make the commitment publicly so that I don’t have any excuses.

Henceforth I will be writing two articles per week, Monday night and Thursday night, as well as a YouTube video on Fridays, and the occasional episode of Lunatic Fringe Radio (also on YouTube) – the latter will be very sporadic, simply because arranging schedules with the guests can prove extremely difficult.

Outside of that – sure doesn’t sound like much, does it? – I have a couple of research projects I’m working on.

The first is a full historical investigation into the roots of Marxism.  To destroy a bug you must know what it is.  The end result – I hope – will be a historical tome that is not only revolutionary, but eminently readable (most Historians have a bad habit of being poor writers).  This currently involves a self-administered crash course in Medieval History.

The second is an analysis of what statistical trends are going to be popping their ugly heads up around the years 2018-2025 – the end of the Crisis, and the next global war according to The Fourth Turning – this one’s going to be math heavy (I know I left that Calculus textbook around here somewhere…), and will likely take the form of a video documentary on YouTube.

Also there’s the sequel to  Broken Roads under the working title As I Think These Broken Thoughts; it’s halfway done, and I need to finish it.

Suffice to say I have a loaded schedule.

How can you help?  First off, pick up a copy of the book; if you’re a man born after 1970 it’ll resonate with you.  And if you’re a woman who regularly reads this blog, you’ll enjoy it, and understand men just a little better.  Second, leave a review of it up on Amazon, Goodreads, and wherever else strikes your fancy; reviews help a LOT.  It’s doing quite well (confirmed by some of my friends in the publishing industry) and it’s beginning to reach a wider audience; having honest, “amateur” reviews will make all the difference.

Thirdly – there’s a PayPal button, down to the right.  If you enjoy the work I’m doing, if you think my content is worthwhile – and you have a bit of spare coin (I certainly don’t want you to put yourself out) – then toss a couple coins in the hat.  I’d really like to start doing this full-time.

Fourth – likes, subscribe, share, et cetera.  Oh – and if you haven’t done so already, check out Google Reader; it provides automatic updates to all your favourite blogs in one place.  I find it incredibly convenient.
